When Should I consider a CNC Retrofit?

Answer: If your machine is in good shape. A CNC Retrofit can bring your machine back to life. In most cases, the CNC Retrofit will give you an enhanced user interface - making your operator more productive, reduce down time, and make your machine run smoother and faster.

DNC Systems

When do I need to consider a DNC system?

Answer: If you have multiple machines and you use paper tape or floppy disks to get part programs to them. Or if you use paper tape. (This is the 21st Century!)

What can I do about Paper Tape?

Answer: Get a BTR (behind the tape reader). A BTR is a physical device that has a serial port on it and emulates a tape reader, so the control thinks it is talking to the tape reader.

What can I do about Floppy Disks?

Answer: If your control has a serial port, you are DNC ready, so get rid of that floppy!
